Below is a summary of the the different license options I offer. Please keep in mind that while the terms of each license will be the same from one instrumental to another, the pricing may vary slightly. Some instrumentals may be priced slightly higher or lower.
Beat licensing can be confusing and even intimidating if you're new to the concept. I want to make it as easy as possible for you to license my instrumentals. If you have any questions, comments, or concearns don't hesitate to contact me! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and am pretty flexible when it comes to terms - as long as they are fair.
With that being said, here are a few frequently asked questions:
Yes! For the most part..All instrumentals are royalty free up to a certain threshold. I call it the "fomo" clause. Bascially, I don't want artists to have to worry about royalties. They are confusing and can be a hassle if your not really making a ton of money. However, I don't want to miss out if you end up making the next billboard top 100 hit with one of my instrumentals! So therefore I include a clause in all my licenses so that I am not left out in that event.
All instrumentals are royalty free until you hit $10,000 in sales (think iTunes) or 1,000,000 streams. Which ever comes first. Once you hit one of those thresholds, then my royalty rights kick in and I will be entitled to 40% of all future royalties.
Yes. Most, if not all, of my instrumentals can be downloaded for free. The free download comes with a voice tag and is for non-profit use only. It cannot be released on any platform and is solely for the purpose of trying out the instrumental before you buy.
If you go past the limits set within the license don't worry. All you have to do is purchase a new license to cover your additional needs. You will only need to pay the difference between the original license you purchased and the new license.
If you need to do this, send me an email.
